Welcome to Fairmont Copley Plaza in the Heart of Boston
Splendor and Old-World opulence mingle at our 1912 Boston landmark with a prominent history worthy of its location: the birthplace of the American Revolution. Stately and storied with a remarkable legacy, Boston’s 109-year-old grande dame is just as tasteful and current as ever.
The site of myriad presidential dinners and globe-changing events, our four-diamond hotel’s one-of-a-kind rooms and extravagant celebration venues have served as the backdrop of special memories for a century and counting. Set your milestone, meeting or grand-scale gala amid the gilded ceilings, crystal chandeliers and marble pillars.
The best of Boston is just outside the door: from world-class museums, exclusive boutiques and historic sites to sporting events, landscaped gardens and leisurely strolls along the river. We are centrally located in the mansion-lined Back Bay neighborhood and city’s top address for life’s big moments. Expect impeccable service, yes, but always personal, genuine and uniquely Boston. Don’t be surprised if the same bellman who greeted your parents for their nuptials is still here — and calls you by name. Be our guest!

Meander past picturesque old lamps and statues, handsome brick manors and historic landmarks, such as Trinity Church and the famed public library. Dine
OAK Long Bar + Kitchen is our acclaimed signature restaurant. True, the critics recently named it Boston’s Best Hotel Bar, but this long-running it-spot is proudly unique and stands entirely on its own. We’ve lovingly updated the 109-year-old local institution to the here and now. Punctuated by an 83-foot copper-top bar, it’s one big modern space with handsome historic bones and industrial-chic flourish — the city’s top see-and-be-seen dining room. Sip craft gimlets, martinis and Old Fashioneds, and sup on upstart fork-to-table fare after a day of touring Boston or an afternoon of board meetings. Rub elbows with Boston’s best and brightest.

Cori Copley is not just a gentle, doe-eyed black Lab, she’s our hotel mascot and canine ambassador. A dog with her own Instagram page and a bona fide Boston celeb, she knows how to make guests feel welcome, and delights in cuddles with kids five to 95. We adopted her from the Guide Dog Foundation and since then, she’s been greeting guests and making star appearances at charity events. Missing your own pooch? Take Cori for a walk in the park or jog through the neighborhood.
